AMD “Zen 6” CPUs Will Arrive by Late 2026 and Retain Support for Socket AM5, It’s Said

The Ryzen 11000 Series, or whatever AMD decides to name its next generation of desktop processors based on the Zen 6 microarchitecture, is launching either in late 2026, or early 2027, according to the latest rumors that have been shared online. As hinted by AMD previously, these new CPUs will also maintain support for Socket AM5 (LGA 1718), meaning that customers will, once again, have the option of sticking with older chipsets and motherboards (e.g., the 800 Series) if they intend to upgrade. Here’s the word from Kepler, as well as a CPU roadmap from AMD that teases its post-Zen 5 plans:
