Control 2 Will Be an Action RPG, Remedy Entertainment Reveals

Control 2, a sequel to the 2019 action-adventure game from Remedy Entertainment, is currently in development as an action RPG, according to a slide that the Finnish video game developer released today for Capital Markets Day 2024. The full slide deck, which can be viewed on Remedy’s investors site, has also revealed that Control has sold over 4.5 million copies since its release in August 2019, while Alan Wake 2, a sequel to the 2010 action-adventure game that Remedy launched last October, has sold over 1.8 million copies.
