The GeForce RTX 5080, a new high-end GPU for gamers and creators based on NVIDIA’s new “Blackwell” architecture, is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, January 21, around two weeks after its official unveiling by green team, according to new rumors that have been shared online. “I hope [the GeForce RTX] 5090 is still January,” reads a response from one enthusiast regarding its sibling’s alleged release date, which comes several days after new pricing rumors for the GeForce RTX 50 Series surfaced online—those that suggest the GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 will cost 9999 RMB (~1,370 USD) and 18,999 RMB (~2,600 USD), respectively. The GeForce RTX 4090 starts at $1,599, while the GeForce RTX 4080 family starts at $999, as noted on the official GeForce site.
