The Radeon RX 9000 Series, a new generation of GPUs based on AMD’s new RDNA 4 architecture that will include at least two models—the Radeon RX 9070 and Radeon RX 9070 XT—will be available for purchase beginning this March, according to a new tweet that David McAfee, VP & GM of Ryzen CPU and Radeon graphics at AMD, posted to his X account yesterday afternoon.

“Radeon 9000 series hardware and software are looking great and we are planning to have a wide assortment of cards available globally,” McAfee told his followers. “Can’t wait for gamers to get their hands on the cards when they go on sale in March!”

“Very concerned as an investor and customer how much of a mess your GPUs and marketing are compared to your CPUs,” reads a response from one critic, while another asked, “What happened to January? And where is the RDNA4 event?”

The news from McAfee comes two weeks after the AMD at CES 2025 keynote, where executives presented red team’s latest Ryzen and AI products but avoided talking about the Radeon RX 9000 Series and its RDNA 4 architecture.
