Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the 2024 action-adventure game from MachineGames and Bethesda Softworks that has been described by some critics as being the best adventure that Harrison Ford’s iconic archaeologist has been on in over 30 years, will no longer be exclusive to Xbox and Windows PCs as early as next month, according to a new report that claims the game will be headed to PS5 consoles in late April.
“The game’s release date is set for April 17, 2025. The Premium version will allow 2-day early access, starting April 15, 2025. Pre-orders will be launched around March 25, 2025 in Europe with the same prices as the Xbox Series version,” Dealabs’ billbil-kun reported today before posting a breakdown of the Standard and Premium Editions for PlayStation, the latter of which will be available two days early:
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – Standard Edition : Releases April 17, 2025. Price: 79.99 euros / 69.99 pounds sterling / 69.99 US dollars.

News of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s April release on PS5 comes on the same day that the ESRB published a ratings summary for the PlayStation version of the game, giving it a Teen rating for blood and gore, drug references, violence, and other material:
This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Indiana Jones on an adventure to uncover a mystery while defeating villains. From a first-person perspective, players explore various locations (e.g., catacombs, tombs, ruins) while solving puzzles and engaging in hand-to hand combat against enemy soldiers. Players can perform stealth attacks and whip attacks to take out enemies discreetly. Players can occasionally use rifles, machine guns, and objects (e.g., shovels, brooms) kill enemies. Combat is accompanied by impact sounds, realistic gunfire, and small blood-splatter effects. One sequence depicts a severed arm on the ground; another sequence depicts a corpse impaled on a spike trap, with small blood stains. The text in the game briefly references drugs (e.g., “I tried morphine; but the drug has given only transient surcease”; “Do not think from my slavery to morphine that I am a weakling…”). The words “as,” “bastard,” and “pss” are heard in the game.
“Uncover one of history’s greatest mysteries in a first-person, single-player adventure,” reads an official description of the game from Bethesda Softworks. “The year is 1937, sinister forces are scouring the globe for the secret to an ancient power connected to the Great Circle, and only one person can stop them – Indiana Jones.”
