NVIDIA’s GeForce Game Ready 442.19 WHQL driver is now available. The update adds support for Rebellion’s undead co-op shooter Zombie Army 4: Dead War, as well as Apex Legends: Season 4 and Metro Exodus: Sam’s Story. It also includes support for three new G-SYNC Compatible gaming monitors.

For Zombie Army 4: Dead War, NVIDIA says that the new driver will allow GeForce RTX GPUs to hit “three digits at max settings” and most other configs to “run at over 60 FPS at 4K” at max settings. Gamers who are too lazy to run through the in-game options are encouraged to try GeForce Experience’s one-click Optimal Playable Settings.

As for G-SYNC Compatible displays, the newly validated monitors are the ASUS TUF GAMING VG259QM, Alienware AW2521HF, and LG 34GN850. All of these models utilize high-refresh IPS displays with DisplayHDR support.

NVIDIA’s GeForce Game Ready 442.19 driver also made improvements to Control Panel’s Max Frame Rate and VRSS features. The Max Frame Rate range has been increased to an extremely high 1000 FPS (from 20), while VRSS can now be enabled on the “Global” tab. This effectively activates VRSS in all supported games.
