NCSoft has announced that its popular open-world MMORPG AION 2 is set to arrive on PC this year, bringing flight-based combat to a new level. Set 200 years after the events of the first game, players can choose from two factions and can engage in arenas as small 1v1 and 4v4, along with massive-scale cross-server RvR (realm vs realm) matches. AION 2 is said to have a world that is 36x larger than the first game, including 200 dungeons. The faction-based Abyss is also getting carried over from the first game. Player’s Daeva are the key to aerial combat in the world of AION 2, where war has erupted between the Elyos and the Asmodians.
Already released in Asia and built using Unreal Engine 5, this action-packed sequel will become available globally this year with servers located in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. Currently, there are 10 languages supported: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
