There’s a pretty decent sale on AMD’s Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics right now at select retailers ($89.99), but if you’re seeking a more powerful APU for that HTPC or other minimalist build, do wait. Hardware sleuth @KOMACHI_ENSAKA (via VideoCardz) has spotted a now-removed CPU support document from BIOSTAR that confirms the imminent release of seven Ryzen 4000 series “Renoir” desktop APUs.

BIOSTAR’s support document only lists these chips’ base clocks, but thanks to a previous leak from Igor Wallossek (Igor’s Lab), we can also deduce their max boost clocks, among other specifics. The flagship SKUs, the 8C/16T Ryzen 7 4700G and Ryzen 7 PRO 4700G, will feature a base clock and boost clock of 3.6 GHz and 4.4 GHz, respectively. These are 65 W chips with eight graphics cores.
