Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have revealed the release dates for its trio of highly anticipated Pokémon games, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl remakes will be released on November 19, 2021, while Pokémon Legends: Arceus, an original tale that will allow Pokémon fans to explore the Sinnoh region of the past and complete the region’s first Pokédex in an open-world environment, will launch on January 28, 2022. All three of these titles are exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are faithful remakes of Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version, which were released on the Nintendo DS system in 2006. […] In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the Pokémon series takes a bold new direction, fusing action with RPG elements. The game takes place in the Sinnoh region of the past, long before the events of Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version.
