Gearbox has announced that Counterplay Games’ PlayStation 5 launch title, Godfall, will also be coming to PS4 consoles later this year. Set for release on August 10, the PS4 version of the looter slasher will be complemented by a new endgame expansion called Fire & Darkness, as well as a Lightbringer update that introduces new enemies, over 40 new loot items, over 50 new Valorplate skins, and matchmaking beta. Godfall for PS4 will also include a free update to the PS5 version.
Godfall leaps onto PlayStation 4 for the first time. Flanked by a new expansion, Fire & Darkness and the free Lightbringer Update, this is the best time to ascend in Godfall. All content shown launches August 10 and comes to PS5, PS4, and the Epic Games Store.
