Diablo II: Resurrected players are venting their frustrations over social media due to Blizzard’s apparent ineptitude at keeping the servers up for a remake of a 20-year-old game. Despite serious server issues over the weekend and emergency maintenance, many still say that they’re unable to log in to play Diablo II: Resurrected today. Blizzard has apologized for the “inconvenience.”
[#D2R] We apologize once again for the inconvenience caused by today's outages. We're working to resolve this as quickly as possible!

Some of the latest thread titles on the official Diablo II: Resurrected forums currently include:
- Diablo 2 Ressurect refund
- My character is gone
- Is this an out of season april fools joke?
- Servers down again?
- Cant connect to servers, login issues
- Bb blizzard where is my money
Users on the Diablo II: Resurrected subreddit are similarly annoyed, screaming at Blizzard to do their jobs:
“It’s been said over and over already, but the status of this game’s ‘servers’ and the support being offered in response is beyond pathetic,” posted one user. “I simply cannot fathom what the actual fuck is happening at Activision/Blizzard right now that would create such clusterfuck on the servers – FOR AN ENTIRE HOLIDAY WEEKEND – and necessitate so many rollbacks for so many people.”
Blizzard currently sells Diablo II: Resurrected for $39.99, but there could be some nice discounts for the game over the holidays due to the increasing controversy.
#D2R We are currently investigating reports of login issues. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
