If you asked any G502 owner what they’d change about the legendary gaming mouse to make it even better, the answer would likely be “nothing,” aside from, maybe, a wireless upgrade. It appears Logitech’s G division listens to their fans well, as the peripheral maker announced exactly that today: a wireless version of the beloved G502 that retains its original shape and button arrangement.
Being an addition to the wireless “Lightspeed” family, the upgrade comes with a significant premium, costing nearly $100 more than the tried-and-true wired editions. The company is willing to bet gamers will pay that difference for the additional freedom, however, pointing out several benefits including wireless charging via PowerPlay and a seven-gram weight reduction made possible by a new thin-wall design and endoskeleton chassis. It is available now at the usual retailers.
