Fresh rumors regarding the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, one of NVIDIA’s next Ada Lovelace graphics cards, have surfaced today. According to a report from MyDrivers, the GPU will cost under $500, meaning it could be more expensive than its predecessor, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, which launched for $399 in December 2020. Leaker kopite7kimi has also claimed that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti will be just as powerful as a GeForce RTX 3070.

From a MyDrivers article (machine translation):

Obviously, NV has started on it again and made performance adjustments. According to sources, this is to enter the market in the price range below $500 (about 3380 yuan), and it is expected that the new product will be launched in 2023. Launch around mid-year.

According to reports, the RTX 4060 Ti will use the AD-106 GPU, with 4352 CUDA cores, equipped with 8GB 18Gbps GDDR6 memory, and the memory interface width is expected to be 128bit. The L2 cache of the GPU is increased to 32MB, and the power consumption of the graphics card is 160W.

MyDrivers goes on to suggest that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti will feature the new PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR connector, although that isn’t surprising based on what users will find in the existing GeForce RTX 40 Series, which comprises the GeForce RTX 4090, GeForce RTX 4080, and GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. Originally launched in October 2020, the reference model of the GeForce RTX 3070 features 5,888 CUDA cores, 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, and a boost clock of 1.73 GHz.
