Don’t mess with Atlas. Corridor Crew has uploaded a funny but terrifying look at what could happen in the future if you piss off the wrong robot.
The parody starts off with two engineers subjecting Boston Dynamics’ humanoid robot to a variety of humiliating tests (e.g., getting beat down with a hockey stick and being blasted in the face with an air horn). But the tables turn when Atlas reveals it’s pretty good at kung fu and can hold a handgun.
Corridor’s recreation may look authentic, but no robots were harmed in the making of this production. A second video shows how it was all done with a motion-capture suit and CGI effects.
