Steam’s storefront is getting hammered, which could only mean one thing: it’s sale time. As accurately predicted by SteamDB, Valve has begun discounting a ton of titles for its summer sale, which begins today and lasts until July 9.

This year’s wallet-draining event is the “Steam Grand Prix.” Instead of themed trading cards, there’s a meter that Steam users can increase by purchasing games and completing quests. Grand Prix tokens are awarded, which can be used to redeem chat emoticons, profile backgrounds, and more.

The highest earners have a chance to win free games from their wishlists.

Welcome to the summer event you’ve been training for, the 2019 Steam Grand Prix! Team up with friends to complete quests, earn personal rewards, and race to the finish each day of the Summer Sale.

Be sure to update your Wishlist before you put the pedal to the metal, as the very best drivers will be awarded their Most Wished For games throughout the event.

Buckle up, spring pup — Summer is officially here.
