Google Unable to Fulfill All Stadia Pre-orders

Not too long ago it was announced that Stadia was selling out in Europe. Well that initial burst of success has created a bit of a speed bump for early adopters on the launch day of November 19th who may not receive their kits on time.

A little ironic for a cloud based service that the hardware kits are the root of Google’s woes for the Stadia launch. Orders will roll out in the order they were recieved starting on November 19th. In addition, OC3D, has reported there will also be limited wireless functionality at first. It seems that presently they will only work with Google’s Chromecast unless you use a USB dongle.

Here in the U.S. it seems that demand for this service was not nearly has intense as Europe. Many have stated they’ll wait on the sidelines to see how the service rolls out. It would appear to be a good choice at the moment but lets hope there’s no other glitches on the horizon for Stadia.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
