DRAM Ryzen Calculator Yuri “1usmus” Bubliy has crated a special power plan for Ryzen 3000 CPUs that can supposedly boost their clock frequencies by as much as 250 MHz. Benchmark results are specific to the Ryzen 9 3900X and 3950X, but improvements should be valid across the entire range. Bubliy says he’s already contacted AMD about his findings, so the power plan may be officialized in some way.
My dears, I have prepared my own power profile for Ryzen, it will fix all problems with boost and also reduce the temperature in idle and loads where all the cores are not involved. On average, I get a difference of 200-250 MHz🔥@AMDRyzen @AMD @LisaSu @Thracks @msitweets #Ryzen pic.twitter.com/n5wuVOKYL0

Problems with the clock behavior of the CPU, such as the short-term clock jumps without load are also to be corrected with its new energy plan. Results will vary but the new .plan works best for 3900X he mentions. The higher boost frequencies can also be accompanied by lower temperatures when no load or only load is applied to individual cores, the developer mentions.
