ZeniMax Online Studios has given The Elder Scrolls V fans a huge incentive for jumping into its MMO. According to a new TES: Elsweyr trailer, the MMO is headed back to the Old Kingdom and Throat of the World, Skyrim, in 2020. The new expansion follows 2017’s Morrowind, 2018’s Summerset, and this year’s Elsweyr.

Well, in 2020, it looks like we’ll be heading back to Skyrim, which was, of course, the setting for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. We get a very brief glimpse of the frosty northern region right at the end of the aforementioned cinematic trailer. “Explore the dark heart of Skyrim,” it says. There’ll be a full reveal event livestreamed on the 16th January, 2020.
