Ghost Recon Breakpoint

In Ghost Recon Breakpoint we are running the game at 1080p with the “Ultra” preset.  Now, this is not the highest in-game settings, it can actually up a couple more notches to Ultimate and Extreme.  The problem is that with smaller framebuffers this game does stutter or get choppy, anything above “Ultra” on the 6GB Radeon RX 5600 XT gets choppy.  That’s why “Ultra” is the best setting for the Radeon RX 5600 XT which runs at near 70 FPS average.

The XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT is an enormous 64% faster than the Radeon RX 580 in this game.  The Radeon RX 580 does much worse because of its smaller 4GB framebuffer running at “Ultra” settings.  It just isn’t as good.  That means the XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT offers a much better experience, due to its faster performance and bigger framebuffer for this game.  The RX 5600 XT is playable, the RX 580 is not, we’d really have to lower settings in this game on the RX 580 to make it smooth.  Having a factory overclock on the RX 580 would not improve the situation.
