Full Specifications of Intel’s “Desktop Caliber” Comet Lake-H Mobile Core CPUs Leaked In New Slides

HD Tecnologia has shared a trio of slides that detail Intel’s upcoming 10th Gen Core mobile processors (Comet Lake-H) in full. They confirm that the top SKU, the i9-10980HK, can boost all the way up to 5.3 GHz. This is an 8C/16T CPU with a TDP of 45 W and 16 MB of Intel Smart Cache.

According to one slide, Intel’s mobile i9 will offer performance that’s comparable to its desktop brethren (“desktop caliber performance on-the-go”). The company also claims that it provides up 54 percent higher FPS, up to 44 percent better overall performance, and up to 2x faster 4K video rendering and export vs. a three-year-old enthusiast PC.

New features include Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0, DDR4-2933 RAM and Wi-Fi 6 support, and a one-click overclocking solution called Intel Speed Optimizer. The Comet Lake-H lineup will also support up to 128 GB of memory, 40 PCIe 3.0 lanes, Thunderbolt 3, and Optane.
