Who doesn’t like free gear? Have you been eyeing a laptop with an RTX graphics solution? Maybe you are thinking about upgrading to a G-SYNC display. Well, NVIDIA has a new sweepstakes to help lucky folks get some impressive-looking equipment. The “Summer of RTX” sweepstakes has begun. This contest runs from June 12th through July 17th, 2020. Prizes span from the super-rare limited-edition GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition GPU to laptops, displays, and even a custom-made rig.

From June 12 to July 17, 2020, our social channels will shine a spotlight on key gaming announcements and exciting #RTXOn games from this summer’s biggest digital events. Along the way, we’ll offer our community plenty of chances to win great prizes like NVIDIA® GeForce RTX laptops, G-SYNC displays, a blazing-fast gaming rig from our friends at Maingear, and even our super-scarce GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition GPUs!

How to enter

  1. Follow us on social media (TwitterInstagram and Facebook) at @NvidiaGeforce
  2. Pay attention to any prompts in our posts to retweet, share, tag or simply answer questions.
  3. Use the #RTXOn hashtag.
  4. Answer as many of our prompts as often as you like. Each entry is a chance to win.

Another way to win

Reportedly, only 200 GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition GPUs were made. There have already been listings on eBay going for over $5000. This is NVIDIA’s second promotional giveaway to feature the exotic-looking card. Feel like you need even more chances for one? GOG also has a contest going on where you could win the GPU. That started on June 10 and will end, along with their summer sale, on June 15. Good luck to the contestants!

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
