According to a flyer obtained by VideoCardz, AMD is planning to bundle free copies of Ubisoft’s Viking-inspired Assassin’s Creed title, Valhalla, with select Ryzen 9 and Ryzen 7 processors. There aren’t a lot of details aside from which CPUs qualify (please refer to the list below), but the promotion will presumably correlate with the launch of AMD’s new, shiny Ryzen XT series on July 7th.

While Assassin’s Creed Valhalla doesn’t launch until this holiday, it’s already managed to stir up some bad PR. This week, creative director Ashray Ismail announced that he’d be leaving the project due to allegations of infidelity. Apparently, he cheated on his wife.

“I am stepping down from my beloved project to properly deal with the personal issues in my life,” Ismail said in a now-deleted tweet. “The lives of my family and my own are shattered. I am deeply sorry to everyone hurt in this.”

“There are hundreds of talented, passionate people striving to build an experience for you that do not deserve to be associated with this. I wish them all the best.”
