TechteamGB has published some serious allegations against MSI on his Twitter account. According to the hardware reviewer, who runs a YouTube channel, the company offered him money to take down a less-than-stellar review of its new Bravo 15 laptop, which features AMD Ryzen 7 4000 H-Series processors and Radeon RX 50 Series graphics cards.
“On Monday I posted a review of an MSI laptop, which had a number of flaws,” TechteamGB began. “The display was poor, thermals were terrible and the track pad felt like it was broken.” He then goes on to explain how the hardware manufacturer tried to bribe him despite a weeks-long effort at ascertaining why the laptop was bad and trying to work things out with the company.
I don't normally name and shame companies and their less-than-idea behaviours, but this is going too far.

On Monday I posted a review of an MSI laptop, which had a number of flaws. The display was poor, thermals were terrible and the track pad felt like it was broken.
“Prior to posting the review, I contacted MSI to see if they could confirm my findings. I held the review for weeks waiting for them to test a unit, but they didn’t,” he claimed. “Instead they offered to pay me to not post the review and tried to persuade me (‘only you and me know you have it’).”
I declined and posted it anyway. I had a call earlier today in which they asked me to remove to word "disappointing" from the title, again I declined. I was then threatened with no more review samples or sponsorships if I didn't comply.

What’s really interesting is that MSI allegedly dragged AMD into the drama. Apparently, MSI asked for AMD’s help in getting TechteamGB’s video taken down, but red team ended up taking his side instead!
Just to clarify, AMD were on my side here. The PR rep had already written his reply saying it's a problem with the laptop, not the youtuber. He just called to let me know.
