When it comes to the action role-playing, hack-and-slash dungeon crawler genre, Diablo is the franchise that immediately pops up in most gamers’ minds, but there are actually plenty of great alternatives. That would include Runic Games’s Torchlight II, which happens to be free right now on the Epic Games Store.
According to the store page, Torchlight II was only released on the Epic Games Store yesterday, on July 16, 2020. Boy, Tim Sweeney sure is lenient with those launch-day freebies!
“Torchlight II is filled to the brim with randomized levels, enemies and loot,” reads the official game description. “Capturing all the flavor and excitement of the original, Torchlight II expands the world and adds features players wanted most, including online and LAN multiplayer.”

CHARACTERS
