In February, Herman Miller and Logitech announced that they were collaborating on a fancy, expensive gaming version of its popular “Embody” office chair. Many of us have been wondering what the heck something like that would look like or how much it would cost (shudder), and today, we’ve got the answers to both of those burning questions. Check out the video below for our first look at the Embody Gaming Chair, which launches today for the bargain price of $1,495!

As you might have imagined, Herman Miller and Logitech G’s baby is essentially an Embody painted with the latter’s distinct black-and-blue, gamer-friendly color scheme. Judging by its spinal curve support, cooling foam, tilt functions, and multiple points of calibration, it does look like a super-comfy chair (oh, it better be, based on the price).

“Prior to the in-depth research we did, we knew many gamers loved our current offering as we are constantly rated highly in almost every gamer product review,” said Tim Straker, Chief Marketing Officer for Herman Miller. “The main feedback we received was they wanted more variety.”

“This in-depth research convinced us that we needed to modify a current offering to improve lower back support, increase forward leaning, provide a greater ability to swivel, and better adjustments for tables and monitors,” continued Straker. “The Embody Chair set the benchmark for pressure distribution, natural alignment, and support for healthy movement, so it was the perfect choice to be modified to meet these needs.”

Those of you who have even more money to blow may want to consider Herman Miller’s new Motia Gaming Desk and Ollin Monitor Arm, too. That’s right – the company doubled down on the whole gaming thing with a height-adjustable desk and sleek display arm, which, naturally, pair perfectly with the Embody Gaming Chair. These are available for $1,295 and $295, respectively.

But wait a second – where’s the RGB?
