It appears that Crytek has been busy trying to make up for its Crysis Remastered announcement trailer, which was thoroughly ridiculed for its disappointing graphics. The developer shared what appears to be an in-engine screenshot of Crysis Remastered’s Nanosuit in 8K today, and as you might expect, it looks pretty good – although we’re not sure if anyone will even be able to run the game at such a high resolution. Some critics also claim it’s been touched up with Photoshop, but let’s show a little optimism here and pretend Crytek is actually giving us the Crysis remaster we deserve.

Crytek’s tweet also suggests we’ll be getting the release date for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of Crysis Remastered very soon. (Crysis Remastered is already available for the Nintendo Switch, but obviously, that version is relatively limited in the graphics department.)

“The wait is almost over, and we promise it will be worth it! Please stand-by for further intel,” Crytek wrote. You can hit this link for the 7680 x 4320 px version.
