Last weekend, the first alleged benchmark for the GeForce RTX 3080 surfaced with a 2.1 GHz max core clock and 10 GB of RAM. Now we’re hearing that certain variants will boast twice that amount of memory. According to leaker kopite7kimi, the PG132-SKU20 part/PCB is an RTX 3080 from one of NVIDIA’s add-in-card (AIC) partners with 20 GB of GDDR6X RAM.
PG132-SKU20 is RTX 3080 20G from AIC.

What’s really interesting is that this increased memory allotment is exclusive to third-party RTX 3080 models. kopite7kimi claims that NVIDIA’s own Founders Edition will be limited to 10 GB of RAM, while AIC models will have up to 20 GB. We’re guessing that green team’s own design will be less popular this time around.
