Hardwareluxx’s Andreas Schilling has shared additional images of Seasonic’s PCIe connector accessory, which was designed to convert 2x 8-pin connectors into a single, 12-pin connector – the alleged power solution for NVIDIA’s flagship GeForce RTX 30 Series. These photos put the size of the connector into a much better light. Apparently, the 12-pin connector is a lot smaller (or, at least, thinner) than the traditional 8-pin connectors that we’ve been accustomed to on modern GPUs.
For comparison:

The rumor mill claims that NVIDIA’s 12-pin connector will be exclusive to its Founders Editions, however. That means third-party, AIC models will continue to leverage the tried-and-true 8-pin design, but prospective GeForce RTX 30 Series owners who want a slightly more simplified connection process may want to spring for green team’s own offering.
