As you read through the data remember the specific specifications for the 512GB TEAMGROUP MP34 calls for 3000 MB/s read and 1700 MB/s write.
In the SEQ1M Q8T1 test our TEAMGROUP MP34 512GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD reaches a maximum read speed of 3406 MB/s. This exceeds the quoted rated read speed on the box. At this performance, it is right at the ADATA XPG SX8100NP read speeds here, while the SAMSUNG 970 PRO takes the lead, but not by much.
On SEQ1M Q8T1 write performance our TEAMGROUP MP34 once again exceeds the rated 1700 MB/s and reaches a maximum of 2449 MB/s. This puts its write speed above the ADATA XPG SX8100NP but slightly below the SAMSUNG 970 Pro.
In the SEQ1M Q1T1 test reading we find the TEAMGROUP MP34 does really well here also, providing 10% more performance than the SAMSUNG 970 EVO. It does come in right under the XPG SX810np.
In SEQ1M Q1T1 write performance the TEMGROUP MP34 does produce over the rated speed of 1700 MB/s at 1863 MB/s here, which is great. That performance though is well under the SAMSUNG 970 EVO, but of course that is a very competitive SSD. The number is a lot closer to the XPG SX8100NP.
In the RND4K Q32T16 read test the TEAMGROUP MP34 is slower than the other two NVMe SSDs.
That slower read speed in random 4K though is mitigated by better write speeds here being better than the XPG SX8100NP. The SAMSUNG 970 EVO though is I a class of its own.
This is where the TEAMGROUP MP34 SSD really shines, Random 4K Q1T1, producing the highest read speeds and even beating the SAMSUNG 970 EVO by 38%!
Write speeds in Random 4K Q1T1 continue to impress with the TEAMGROUP MP34 beating the SAMSUNG 970 EVO by 9%.
