BIOSTAR B550MH Motherboard Review System Setup

Testing Setup

We have the latest motherboard BIOS installed which is version B55AS907.BSS dated 9/07.  It uses AGESA ComboAM4v2 PI 1.0.8.1. Our CPU is running at the default stock performance and motherboard BIOS settings are at default. However, we do have the XMP/DOCP set for the memory so it is running at 3600MHz. The timings are 16-19-19-1T.

For the OS setup note that we do have the latest Spring 2020 (2004) Windows 10 update applied with all latest incremental OS updates.  We are using the Ryzen “High Performance” power profile for CPUs.

In our review today we are going to compare performance to the ASRock B550 Taichi motherboard, the only other B550 chipset motherboard we have reviewed so far. As we add more B550 motherboards we will include them on the comparisons.
