Can’t get enough of Dave Bautista in Gears 5? The Coalition is looking to give you even more. He originally joined Gears 5 last year but was only playable in multiplayer mode. An announcement about the next Xbox Series X|S update has revealed that he’ll now become available in the single-player campaign with the New Game+ mode.
This isn’t the only change arriving in the November 10 update. IGN sat down with The Coalition and managed to get a number of details regarding other changes that are coming, such as new character and weapon skins. There are also two new Ironman and Inconceivable difficulty modes. New achievements, visual upgrades, and numerous changes to the versus mode are all on the list as well. Game cinematics will now render at 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS.
Improved Latency
The game’s developers are continuing to reduce latency on both the Xbox One X and Xbox Series X. They’ve posted new graphs demonstrating where the two consoles are currently at for both Versus and Campaign modes.
Even with all of this going on, the game’s developers are working on even more things for down the road, such as DLC and other improvements.
