CD PROJEKT RED has uploaded a new episode of Night City Wire that demonstrates what its hotly anticipated sci-fi RPG looks like on Microsoft’s Xbox One X and Xbox Series X consoles. Regardless of whether it’s running on last-gen or current-gen hardware, Cyberpunk 2077 looks to be a beautiful experience.

The video actually gives us an extensive look at all of Cyberpunk 2077’s core facets of gameplay, which include driving sequences, general exploration, and first-person shooting. One of the most striking aspects is how large and lifelike Night City feels.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification,” a game description reads.

“You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia on December 10, 2020. Free next-gen upgrades will be available sometime next year.
