We recently heard that AMD had given AIBs the green light to produce custom Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards, but that must have actually happened a good while ago, as ASUS has already shared a non-reference, TUF Gaming model. Its specifications are mostly a mystery (clicking on “tech specs” gives us a blank screen), but the landing page does include plenty of photos that show us the card from all angles.

The page also teases many of the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6900 XT’s major features, such as “bigger, better cooling” enabled by an Axial-tech fan design, a beefy 2.9-slot heat sink with MaxContact technology, a PCB with military-grade capacitors, and an all-aluminum shroud. It also features dual 8-pin power connectors, three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, and one HDMI 2.1 output.

“The TUF GAMING Radeon RX 6900 XT is a tenacious beast with a tough metal exterior, super-efficient cooling, and components that offer enhanced endurance,” a blurb reads. “An all-metal shroud houses three powerful axial-tech fans with dual ball fan bearings and extra blades.”

“Under the exoskeleton, a thick heatsink keeps thermals under tight control and TUF components, selected for maximum durability and performance, keep the card ahead of the pack. You asked for a mean machine… this one is ready for action.”
