HBO Max has released the first full-length trailer for Zack Snyder’s heavily anticipated cut of Justice League. The trailer includes a ton of never-before-seen footage that was either edited out of the original 2018 film or newly produced, such as extended shots of Batman’s Knightmare sequence, Superman in his oft-rumored black suit, and a clear look at what was supposed to be the DCEU’s chief antagonist, Darkseid. It even ends with a peek at the interaction between Ben Affleck’s Batman and Jared Leto’s Joker, which was teased by Vanity Fair last week.

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions,” a synopsis reads.

“The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.”

HBO Max has launched a microsite for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which includes links to the community and character lore, as well as a shortcut to the DC Shop where fans can pick up various merchandise such as t-shirts. The site also includes a countdown to the premiere of the film, which is just 31 days away.

“Enter the world of ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE and stay up to date with the latest news, trailers, activities and more on the dedicated microsite here! As our heroes, now united, prepare to protect the world from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid’s dreadful intentions, we’ll have everything you need to get ready for the March 18th premiere on HBO Max.”

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be available to stream in 4K UHD with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos on supported devices.
