The organizers of Computex Taipei, one of the world’s largest computer trade shows, has been forced to cancel its onsite exhibitions for this year’s event due to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic, which is set to prevent a good portion of businesses and other visitors from attending the show. Taking its place will be Computex Virtual, an online exhibition that will include keynote speeches from select companies, products showcased via virtual booths, networking opportunities, and more. Computex Virtual will take place from May 31 to June 30.

With another wave of coronavirus pandemic across the world, it doesn’t look like we are close to the end. The majority of the show’s stakeholders, including international exhibitors, visitors, and media, cannot join the show due to border control. Therefore, the organizers of COMPUTEX have decided to cancel the onsite exhibition this year.
