Resident Evil Village will run at 4K HDR/45 FPS with ray tracing enabled on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. This is according to an output resolution and expected frame rate chart that Capcom published today on the survival horror game’s website, which confirmed that Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen hardware can run the game at 60 FPS in 4K with ray tracing turned off. The Xbox Series S version of Resident Evil Village also supports ray tracing but dips from 1440p/45 FPS to 1440p/30 FPS when the demanding feature is enabled.

Set a few years after the horrifying events in the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the all-new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares. Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again. When BSAA captain Chris Redfield attacks their home, Ethan must once again head into hell to get his kidnapped daughter back.
