Square Enix released the upgraded prequel to NieR:Automata, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam last week. While all three ports inherently target 60 FPS, a contributor on Nexus Mods has released a mod that allows the PC version of NieR Replicant to run at much higher frame rates. Its creators, Ersh and SkacikPL, have reportedly tested fFPSCap values as high as 360 on 144 Hz screens without running into severe issues, but players might encounter some problems with mouse sensitivity and UI animations, as well as some slowdown in movement.
