Final Fantasy fans who don’t own a PlayStation console and would prefer to enjoy FFVII Remake on PC may have an extended wait ahead of them. This is according to a new trailer that Square Enix released for the visually enhanced Intergrade version today, which includes a slide confirming that the game will be exclusive to PS5 consoles for “at least six months earlier than any other format.” What this suggests is that PC gamers may not see a port of the game until next year at the very earliest. There’s also the possibility of FFVII Remake Intergrade being tied up as some sort of Epic Games Store exclusive (see Kingdom Hearts franchise).

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE is coming to PlayStation 5 on June 10th 2021 as FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE; a visually enhanced edition of the critically acclaimed and award winning game, featuring FF7R EPISODE INTERmission – a brand new episode which follows Yuffie Kisaragi as the main character, and numerous gameplay additions for players to enjoy.
