AMD’s Radeon RX 6500 or Radeon RX 6400 Series graphics cards are expected to leverage Navi 24, red team’s weakest RDNA 2 GPU. According to information derived from recent Linux driver code, this chip, code named “Beige Goby,” will likely feature 1,024 Shader Units. This is exactly half the amount of AMD’s Navi 23 GPU, which powers the Radeon RX 6600 Series.

AMD Navi 24 is likely the last member of the Navi 2X family based on RDNA2 architecture. It marks an important moment when AMD releases four GPUs based on the same architecture under one series of Radeon products. This wasn’t the case in the past few years.
