Microsoft to Retire Internet Explorer 11 Next Summer

Microsoft has announced that it will be ending the support of its classic web browser, Internet Explorer 11, on June 15, 2022. The tech giant confirmed the date in an official Windows Experience Blog post today, which pointed out that its new Chromium-based Edge browser serves as a superior alternative thanks its improved speeds, security, and modern refinements. Microsoft 365 and other apps will end support for Internet Explorer 11 on August 17, 2021.
