Following the successful (albeit controversial) release of Crysis Remastered, Crytek could be revealing a remastered version of its 2011 sequel, Crysis 2, relatively soon. This is according to two tweets shared by the official Crysis account today, the first of which echoes one of Prophet’s most memorable lines from the beginning of the game: “They used to call me Prophet.” Leaked Crytek documents from last year have already suggested that Crytek will be releasing not only a remastered version of Crysis 2, but a remastered version of Crysis 3 and a potential battle royale spin-off as well.

[Crysis Next] “A free to play battle-royale game where 100s of players collide in fast paced combat. Visual customization, adaptive nanosuit powers, and visually spectacular combat in an immersive world creates the ultimate live streaming experience. The Crysis franchise has all the features to make a battle royale stand out. The gameplay. The style and setting. High production value.”
