Ubisoft announced the sixth installment of its popular open-world FPS franchise, Far Cry 6, nearly a year ago on July 12, 2020. Far Cry fans will finally have a better idea of what the game will actually look like later this month, as Ubisoft confirmed today that it will be releasing the first gameplay footage for Far Cry 6 on May 28 at 9:30 a.m. PDT/6:30 p.m. CEST. The worldwide gameplay reveal will presumably show off some of Far Cry 6’s new weapons and Caribbean locales, as well as provide a little more insight into key characters such as President Antón Castillo, who’s played by popular actor Giancarlo Esposito.

As Dani Rojas (playable as a female or male character), you will help stoke the fires of revolution through guerrilla warfare across the island of Yara, from verdant jungles to the urban streets of the capital city, Esperanza. You’ll use a powerful array of weapons and vehicles, and build a network of allies to fight alongside you, including Fangs for Hire like Chorizo, the dangerously distracting wiener dog.
