CUDA benchmarks for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti have surfaced on Geekbench ahead of its official reveal on May 31. With a CUDA score of 238603, the benchmarks reveal that the GPU will perform similarly to the GeForce RTX 3090. It was tested on an ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero motherboard with a Core i9-11900K processor and 32 GB DDR4-3600 memory.

This score puts it right in between two official scores of RTX 3090 graphics. If Geekbench scoreboard combined those two results then the RTX 3080 Ti score would actually be higher (238603 vs 237972) but only by 0.2% which is within a margin of error.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
