Nintendo’s upcoming revision to its best-selling hybrid games console, the Nintendo Switch, has popularly been referred to as the “Nintendo Switch Pro” in rumor circles. According to a new listing spotted at Amazon Mexico, that is indeed the name that Nintendo has chosen for its updated console, which reportedly features a 7-inch, 720p OLED panel from Samsung and a more powerful chip from NVIDIA that enables a 4K gaming experience. Nintendo will supposedly announce its new Switch Pro console very soon for a potential release this fall.

[Bloomberg] claims the redesigned hardware will be announced ahead of E3 2021, which takes place from June 12-15, giving developers room to showcase games for the system at the all-digital show. According to the publication’s sources, Nintendo will begin assembly of the new Switch as soon as July and release the console “in September or October.”
