DOOM Eternal may already be a beautiful and well performing game, but id Software and Bethesda Softworks’ critically acclaimed first-person shooter is set to get even better with the addition of Vulkan ray tracing and support for NVIDIA’s deep learning super sampling technology, DLSS. Both of these exciting features will be added to DOOM Eternal as part of an update that will be released in June. NVIDIA also announced ray tracing and/or DLSS support for a handful of other notable games, such as Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 (DLSS), Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege (DLSS), and LEGO Builder’s Journey (DLSS and ray tracing).

DOOM Eternal was built to deliver the very best in engaging first-person-shooter gameplay, stunning visuals and uncompromising performance. With the addition of ray tracing to idTech and support for NVIDIA DLSS, we’re pushing the engine in exciting new ways and we can’t wait for GeForce RTX gamers to experience it.” – Marty Stratton, Studio Director of id Software
