Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have announced that they will be releasing a direct sequel to its critically acclaimed action-adventure survival horror stealth game, A Plague Tale: Innocence, next year. A Plague Tale: Requiem, as the second installment is called, will continue the story of the original with a new emotional journey that takes protagonists Amicia and her brother Hugo on a perilous new quest. A Plague Tale: Requiem will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Previously, players lived the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending adventure through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo came to know and trust each other, as they struggled to survive against overwhelming odds and fight to find their place in the world.
