G.SKILL today announced a new, dual-chambered mini-ITX PC case dubbed the Z5i. Featuring a pentagonal shape and curved tempered glass side panels, the Z5i offers enough room for large three-slot graphics cards of up to 330 mm in length and up to a 280 mm AIO radiator or two 140 mm case fans for cooling. The case can also house up to three storage drives (i.e., two 2.5-inch SSDs with a third convertible 2.5-inch/3.5-inch SSD/HDD drive space). G.SKILL didn’t provide pricing or availability information in its press release.

For easy access to external USB devices, the front panel on the Z5i is equipped with two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C port, providing convenient high-speed connections to modern portable storage devices or smartphones. The Z5i also integrates ARGB to provide ambient underglow case lighting via the standard 3-pin 5V RGB header on supported motherboards, and controllable with motherboard lighting software for easy lighting customizability.
