Watch Dogs Legion
In Watch Dogs Legion we are running at 1440p with “Ultra” graphics. The SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 6700 XT GAMING OC video card is very playable at 64FPS average. It outperforms the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE by 5%. Overclocking the video card improves performance by 6%. This actually pushes it over the GeForce RTX 3070 FE as well by 3%.
When we turn on “Ultra” Ray Tracing the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 6700 XT OC performance drops to unplayable levels. Overclocking cannot help it much here. However, the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 are also not playable, even if they are a lot faster than the RX 6700 XT.
It takes Quality DLSS to make the GeForce RTX 3070 FE near playable at 1440p with “Ultra” Ray Tracing.
Horizon Zero Dawn
In Horizon Zero Dawn all video cards are playable at 1440p with the highest in-game settings. The SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 6700 XT OC plays very well at 96FPS average. Overclocking improves performance by 6% which slots it just above the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE. The GeForce RTX 3070 FE still outperforms the overclocked 6700 XT by 8%.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 all the video cards are playable at 1440p with “Ultra” settings, but the ones that can maintain in the ’40s are much smoother. The SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 6700 XT OC is the slowest card for the game until we overclock it. Overclocking improves performance by 11% and it brings performance almost equal to the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE. This performance level is much more enjoyable. Ultimately the RTX 3070 FE is the fastest, and smoothest for the game.
Red Dead Redemption 2
In Red Dead Redemption 2 this game is playable on the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 6700 XT GAMING OC video card at 1440p and the highest settings. This is impressive because this game is very demanding. Performance exceeds the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti by 5%. Overclocking the video card helps a lot in this game, performance is now over 60FPS on average and it’s very smooth. Overclocking improved performance by 7% and puts it equal to the GeForce RTX 3070 FE in performance.
Wolfenstein Youngblood
In Wolfenstein Youngblood, all the video cards are very playable at the highest in-game settings at 1440p. Overclocking the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 6700 XT OC has improved performance by 12%, which brings it closer to RTX 3060 Ti performance in this game. The GeForce RTX 3070 FE still has the lead.
