NVIDIA Releases GeForce Game Ready 471.11 Driver for DOOM Eternal’s Upcoming Ray Tracing and DLSS Update

NVIDIA has released its new GeForce Game Ready 471.11 WHQL driver. Green team’s latest driver adds support for DOOM Eternal’s upcoming ray tracing update, which launches on June 29 and brings ray-traced reflections and NVIDIA DLSS to the popular FPS. NVIDIA’s new GeForce Game Ready 471.11 WHQL driver also introduces support for NVIDIA Reflex in Escape From Tarkov, ray-traced effects and DLSS in LEGO Builder’s Journey, and DLSS in Rust. Additionally, users will find four new GeForce Experience optimal settings profiles and support for four new G-SYNC Compatible displays.

NVIDIA DLSS Linux Support For Proton

To enable Proton through your GNU/Linux Steam application, and use NVIDIA DLSS in supported titles:

  1. Download and install our new Linux driver
  2. Install and Launch Steam
  3. At the top of the menu bar, select “Steam” and click on “Settings” in the dropdown menu
  4. To the left of the Settings pop-up window, select “Steam Play” at the bottom of the list
  5. Check “Enable Steam Play for supported titles” and “Enable Steam Play for all other titles”
  6. Next to the “Run other Titles with” category, there is a drop down menu. Choose Proton Experimental
  7. Load and play a supported DLSS game
