AMD Announces Radeon PRO W6000X Series GPUs for Mac Pro

AMD today announced the availability of its new Radeon PRO W6000X series workstation GPUs. Leveraging the high-performance RNDA 2 architecture and designed exclusively for Apple’s Mac Pro computers, the Radeon PRO W6000X lineup comprises three models, the most intricate of which is the Radeon PRO W6800X Duo. AMD’s Radeon PRO W6800X Duo is a dual-GPU configuration that features 120 Compute Units and 7,680 Stream Processors, along with 64 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit memory interface. The Radeon PRO W6800X Duo offers up to 30.2 TFLOPS of FP32 performance.
